Individual Membership

1. I apply for membership of AAS for the current calendar year ending December 31.

2. I declare that the information I am providing in support of this application is true and correct.

3. I declare that I meet the eligibility criteria for membership.

4. If AAS admits me to membership, I undertake to abide by the Constitution of AAS (and any alteration or amendment to it) and to comply with such rules made under it.

5. I undertake to make payment of the relevant Membership Fees within 2 weeks of this application:

6. I understand that my application will only be processed upon receipt by AAS of all payments due.

7. I fully consent to receive messages and materials from AAS or AAS' service providers, including but not limited to services, events, promotions or otherwise that are offered to me as part of my membership with AAS, regardless via telephone, mail, electronic mail or any other form of communication.

8. I further consent to the collection, use and disclosure of my personal data collected by AAS for the above-mentioned purposes and for purposes related to my membership of AAS.

Institutional Membership

  • MEMBERSHIP OPTIONS

    MEMBERSHIP TYPES

    AAS offers 2 main types of membership:

    1. Individual Membership
    2. Institutional Membership

    There are 4 types of Individual Membership:

    • ORDINARY - open to persons resident in Singapore who are graduates of universities or other institutions of higher learning in Australia or persons who have completed a course of study from a recognised Australian professional body or organisation including their campuses and branches outside Australia.  Membership only $25 nett for for 1 Year
    • ASSOCIATE - open to persons who are resident in Singapore with connections or links with Australia, provided that the Management Committee shall always have the sole discretion to accept or refuse any application by any person to be admitted as an Associate member of the Association.  Membership only $25 nett for 1 Year
    • LIFE - open only to persons who qualify for ordinary memberships or hold ordinary memberships in the Association.  The one-time fee is only S$250 nett.  Save the hassle of annual renewals and always be assured your membership is current.
    • DIGITAL - open to any Australian Alumni who are graduates of universities or other institutions of higher learning in Australia or persons who have completed a course of study from a recognised Australian professional body or organisation including their campuses and branches outside Australia. This membership is a service that does not have voting rights and provides digital only community membership access to the AAS Digital Village. Membership only $1.50 nett for 1 Year

    Institutional memberships are open to any of the following types of organisations:

    1. Australian institutions of higher learning
    2. Australian professional bodies
    3. The campuses, branches and alumni bodies of the organisations set out in paragraphs (a) and (b) above located outside Australia
    4. Public sector entities which, in the opinion of the Management Committee, can contribute to and further the objects of the Association
    5. Private sector entities which, in the opinion of the Management Committee, can contribute to and further the objects of the Association.

    The Management Committee has sole discretion to accept or refuse any application by any institution to be admitted as an institutional member of the Association. The annual fee is only S$200 nett.

  • MEMBERSHIP FEE WAIVER

    We are pleased to announce that all Graduates of JCU, Murdoch University and RMIT have had their AAS Ordinary membership fees 100% subsidised from their Universities under the AAS Partner University Program.
